Do Dungeons Count for EoTN Cartography?
I know there is no dedicated Cartography title for Eye of The North. I'm literally at 999 Master of The North Title points and am having a hard time getting the last point in Cartography. I know I can just Vanquish one more area but I don't feel like it lol. But at this point I might as well since it has taken me so much time already.
I used texmod to find some edges I didn't scrape and I visited Vinn's secret lab (read somewhere that can add as much as a point). Any advice on commonly missed areas? Or should I just suck it up and Vanquish Sarcnoth Valley. I have over 300k vanguard rep (Thank you Snowball Dominance ) so you can see why I'm not eager to Vanq any more. |

Yep. All I have left is Vanquishing Vajar Fells and Sacnoth Valley. Like I said before I was holding off on these because my rep titles are already maxed and the mobs are really annoying in these spots. But yes I've knocked out everything else that gives points.

You only need to Vanquish one of the 2 remaining areas though to get the LMAO....n title. |

For cartographer ( or the cart part in eotn ) only areas above land count - eg sacnorth valley - below ground like dungeons or areas in other realms - ie fow/uw realm of torment and doa are not included.
Check wiki as im sure that for the eotn title you need 1000 points and theres 1011 points available so you may be able to get the last points quicker than you thought. |

If it comes to a choice between Varajar Fells and Sacnoth Valley, I'd take Varajar Fells. It's accessible directly form an outpost, the pathing isn't nearly as convoluted as Sacnoth, and there isn't a burning forest with nasty, hard-hitting Djinns floating around just looking for intruders to fry.

Not sure but max title requires only 1000 of 1031 available.
If you say you only have 1 area left to VQ that would be more 15 points. Therefore if you are at 999 i am sure you surely miss one nm or hm mission/dungeon or an area to VQ. edit: nvm just notice you still miss varjar fells as well. Well go for it! get that texmod out and scrap a few areas (that is what I did...no way was I going for sacnoth or sparkfly)...look around eye of the north---some easy to miss spots there.

If you are at 999 points and have yet to vanquish 2 zones, then you have 2% of the map left to uncover for points. If you grab textmod and the GWEN cartography package, you'll find plenty of areas to scrape. It'll probably still be faster than vanqing either of those zones (though neither of them is really all that hard... just budget an hour or two of your time to do it). Good hunting.

I used texmod already and it helped bring me from 996 to 999. I think i will just suck it up and vanq fells. Thanks for the feedback guys.

Texmod is great at showing areas scrape, but some mods (like Cartography made Easy) are bad at showing spots in the middle of the maps. I did use this mod among others and found myself with several maps where I did not uncover the central area of the map -yet the mod showed it as perfectly uncovered.
